Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) is a boxing promotion company that was founded by popular influencer turned boxer Jake Paul along with his advisor Nakisa Bidarian in 2021. Paul himself has become a big name in the world of boxing ever since he started his career in the ring. MVP has recently signed Javon “Wanna” Walton who is best known for his role as ‘Ashtray’ in the popular HBO series Euphoria.
A lesser-known fact about Walton is that he is considered to be a boxing prodigy. According to ESPN, he has competed in several amateur boxing tournaments and has over 80 fights under his belt. “Wanna” Walton who competes in the 125 lbs category has even participated in 5 Georgia State Championships.
Having multiple victories in junior amateur boxing tournaments, Walton is also a two-time Olympic National Junior silver medalist. Meanwhile, as per BoxRec, the 17-year-old has won 3 out of his 6 matches and is inactive since June 2018.

Jake Paul, being a celebrity boxer himself, recognizes Walton’s potential and considers him to be the face of combat sports over the next decade. According to a report by ESPN, MVP is likely to make his professional boxing debut in 2024. Till then, he will be assisted by the promotion to level up his personal brand and finish his amateur career.
“I’ve been training so hard and working for the majority of my life for this moment,” Walton said in a statement. “MVP feels like family, and that’s very important to me.”- the Euphoria star added.
As per the plan, Javon “Wanna” Walton is likely to be introduced on August 2nd during the open workouts for the boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz in Dallas.
Javon “Wanna” Walton dreams of representing the United States at the Olympics
Javon ”Wanna” Walton has shared that his ultimate dream is to represent his country in the Olympics. Other than boxing, Walton has a great record in gymnastics too. As per the young star, he wants to be recognized for all the sports that he is involved in. Reportedly, he was given the name ‘Wanna’ for the reason that he wants to do everything.
The nickname is indeed true, as the popular actor has already signed a boxing promotion at the age of 17, which makes him the youngest signee of the MVP. In November, last year, Walton also became Nike’s Jordan brand’s youngest signee.
Additionally, apart from playing a 12-year-old drug dealer in the award-winning HBO show Euphoria, Javon has starred in many popular TV series and movies like ‘The Umbrella Academy’ and ‘Samaritan’.
As Jake Paul has described him in his statement, ‘Wanna’ is the future for MVP and pro-boxing. It’ll be interesting to see what unfolds next for the young talent from Atlanta after he makes his debut next year.
