Nate Diaz and Jake Paul will step inside the boxing ring on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, in one of this year’s most exciting boxing bouts. The former UFC fighter Nate Diaz will make his professional boxing debut. Meanwhile, Jake Paul will look to jump back to the winning column after dropping a split decision loss in his last bout against Tommy Fury.
Much has been said about Jake Paul, who has seemingly fallen back to fighting old and “retired” UFC fighters after failing to secure a win against Tommy Fury, an up-and-coming heavyweight prospect and the younger brother of WBC champion Tyson Fury.
However, despite the talks about age and record, Nate Diaz has turned out to be a favorite in the eyes of many fans. Most of them give him an edge in cardio. And rightfully so. The Stockton Slugger has earned a reputation for his incredible cardio and conditioning. To believe that more rounds in the bout favor Nate Diaz, akin to a five-round fight inside the UFC cage, won’t be entirely wrong.
