WWE fans are excited about the massive events scheduled by WWE in the upcoming days. However, not only the fans, but WWE superstars also seem to be all set for the events. The upcoming PPV event, WWE Fastlane 2023 is almost around the corner. It has been scheduled to take place on October 7, 2023. However, only two matches have been confirmed for the event till now.
Both the matches have very interesting stipulations added. One is a ‘Handicap match’, where John Cena alone will face the team of Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Another match that has been added to the PPV event is a ‘Last-Man-Standing’ match. It is all set to take place between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Now, with reference to this particular match, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has something to say. The Visionary might have been a part of several matches in his career, but he has never been a part of a Last Man Standing match. With that, Rollins posted, “First ever LMS. Gonna scorch the earth.”

Thus it can be understood that the match is going to be a heated one. Rollins seems to be more than ready for the match. He also sent a warning to his opponent. In addition to that, with the title on the line and the stipulation added, fans are eagerly excited to witness the outcome of the match.
The storyline between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura
Seth Rollins’ reaction to the scheduled match hints at the fact that the two Superstars might try to tear down each other during the match. However, this won’t be the first time the two Superstars will face each other inside the ring. The duo headlined the last PPV event, Payback 2023, where Rollins successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Nakamura.
However, what followed the match led to the build-up for the upcoming rematch between the duo. After their match at Payback, Nakamura unleashed on Rollins. Following the attack, the latter challenged Shinsuke to a title rematch, which was declined.
After continuing the feud for a few weeks, Rollins gave Shinsuke the liberty to choose the details for their rematch. Shinsuke Nakamura, thus accepted the challenge and proposed a match at Fastlane 2023 with the stipulation of ‘Last Man Standing’ added to the match.
Since this will be the first-ever Last Man Standing match for The Visionary, he seems quite pumped up. However, it remains to be seen if Nakamura is hyperactive for the match as well. The viewers would be thrilled to see if Nakamura will be able to win the championship this time around or if it will be Seth Rollins who will continue his rule with his title.
