Dana White is one of the most unshakeable men on the face of the earth. He deals with some of the deadlist fighters on a daily basis such as Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, Israel Adesanya and more. Being around such larger than life personalities, has turned Dana into an intimidating figure himself. Hence, he was unfazed when a fake Instagram account impersonating McGregor sent him a message.
The UFC head honcho recently took to Instagram account to reveal that there was an attempt to scam him. He shared a screenshot on Instagram from a trickster, claiming to be the former UFC double-champ, Conor McGregor. As per the screenshots shared by Dana himself, the impersonator revealed that they were McGregor and were stuck at an airport. The scam artists even claimed Dana himself was stuck at the same airport with Conor as well.
As no one was scammed, Dana decided to have some fun with it and tagged Conor McGregor in his post. He wrote, “@thenotoriousmma Seems LEGIT.” Needless to say, Dana did not have any problems indentifying the fake account. The most obvious give away was the wrong spelling for Conor’s username.
Secondly, The Notorious would not have to text Dana from airport as he travels private and his travel expenses is well taken care of. While it is not impossible, but it is quite improbable that McGregor will need $100, that too in gift cards.
When will TUF 31 coach Conor McGregor return to fighting?
Fans can catch Conor McGregor on their screen on a weekly basis on their television screens on ESPN and ESPN+. He is the coach in the ongoing The Ultimate Fighter Season 31. McGregor and Michael Chandler are the opposing coaching on the show. The show, which went on air from May 30, will air it’s finale on August 15. In this particular edition, the show has bantamweight and lightweight fighters as the two coaches look to establish their supremacy.
While seeing Conor on the screen is a treat, what fans really want to see, is him fighting. The spectators have been waiting to see him in action since July 2021. At UFC 264, fans last saw their favorite Irish fighter in the cage when he broke his ankle against his bitter rival, Dustin Poirier. Since then, Conor has gone through surgery and has worked hard on his rehab.
Conor McGregor recently said he could potentially be fighting this December. Jon Jones is eyeing a fight at MSG in November.

It looks like he is finally ready to fight and his fellow TUF 31 coach, Michael Chandler, will be his next opponent. The bout is being targetted for fall 2023. However, one massive hardle on its way, was Conor’s lack of USADA tests. It was previously revealed that McGregor had 0 USADA tests in 2022. However, Conor is now reportedly back in the testing pool. So fans can finally expect to see the return of the Dublin native to the UFC.
