DeMar DeRozan has had a rough season with the Chicago Bulls. As a result, they entered the play-in tournament, a position that they should not have in the first place. While the Bulls suffered immensely, Debo had been trying his best to maintain composure. It is probably tough being a former All-Star and playing for teams that keep flopping out of the playoffs consistently sometimes. The Bulls are in a tough spot now.
The Bulls rallied against the Toronto Raptors in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference play-in tournament last night. Both teams showed how hungry they were to earn their playoff spot. Chicago powered it through and elevated their offense at the end. One of the game’s biggest highlights was Diar, DeMar DeRozan’s daughter. She let out bone-chilling screams every time Raptors players shot free throws. The audience around her clearly wasn’t having it either. Here are a few reactions from Twitter.
Also, hilarious that some fans think DeRozan’s daughter should’ve been ejected. Imagine being a professional basketball player and getting shook by one girl screaming when you shoot free throws.

No class. I feel bad for anyone sitting around that poor excuse of a human.

“Also, hilarious that some fans think DeRozan’s daughter should’ve been ejected. Imagine being a professional basketball player and getting shook by one girl screaming when you shoot free throws,” said one fan. Another claimed that it was certainly not alright for her to scream like she was being murdered. It turns out, Diar’s efforts to distract the Raptors worked as only 50% of their 36 free throw attempts were converted. DeRozan told the media that he didn’t regret bringing her to the game in spite of her missing out on school for the day.
DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls prepare to face the Miami Heat
The Bulls managed to pull off a decent victory over the Raptors. DeMar DeRozan had 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists during the game. Zach LaVine, however, was their key player who scored 39 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists. The Bulls also maintained good defense, recording 10 blocks and 9 steals over the Raptors. Toronto struggled to get their shots in, which ultimately cost them the game.
Now, Chicago will be put to the test against the Miami Heat, who have a really strong team. Last season, the Heat and Bulls went back and forth for the top spot in the East. Ultimately, Miami took the throne. Jimmy Butler and his squad are very well known for their outstanding defense, which will pose a great challenge against the Bulls’ offense.
It is quite unfortunate that the Heat lost all three regular-season games against the Bulls. However, the Heat roster has been in the playoffs before making deep runs. The lineup has not changed much since 2020, which still shows a glimmer of hope for the team. The winner of this match will face the No.1 seed, Milwaukee Bucks.
