Red Bull has been the most dominating team this season. The team has earned 11 consecutive wins this season and won all the races so far proving they are unbeatable. But while their reign in this sport carries on, Lewis Hamilton raises a suspicious eye. Recently, Red Bull mentioned how they already started focusing on their next year’s car just half season in.
While they shifted their focus from their 2023 car to start developing the next year’s car, Lewis Hamilton had objections against it. He said that FIA should not allow Red Bull to start working on their car so early into the season. Hamilton addressed this as unfair to the other teams and asked for a rule change.
He wanted FIA to pass out a specific time when all teams can start working on their cars. This would give everyone an equal amount of time. Hamilton’s idea was rejected quickly with FIA confirming that they would not be slowing down teams. Red Bull had been given a penalty on their wind tunnel testing time as a punishment for a minor breach of the cost cap.
Red Bull has confirmed to bring out new changes in their car and announced that they would be bringing new upgrades in their side pods for the Hungarian Grand Prix. This news about Red Bull’s new upgrades has left everyone intrigued. Their upgrades are supposedly going to make the car two-tenths faster.

Hamilton who drives for Mercedes, has had multiple upgrades in his car throughout the season. But after Red Bull’s announcement of developing their next year’s car. Their announcement of the new upgrades for Hungary seems to have grown suspicion for the Brit.
Recently, reports came out saying that two or three teams have breached the cost cap. Red Bull who have already received a rather lenient punishment for their breach of cost cap earlier have fallen in the Brit’s suspicion. Amidst these cost cap breach reports, Lewis Hamilton had not hesitated to mention Red Bull’s upgrades.
Hamilton told Sky Sports, “There are people who should keep an eye on this, but I’m not surprised, because a punishment has been handed out before.”
He then mentioned how Red Bull had gotten away with the cost cap breach last time with minimal punishment that did not affect them. Further also confirming that there could be teams who have breached the cost cap since the teams know they could get away with it.
While the conversations of what teams have breached the cost cap carry on, Hamilton seems to have set his eyes on one of the teams. Although there has been no official statement from the CEO, Stefano Domenicali. FIA has confirmed that they have not found any cost cap breach yet.
