Lewis Hamilton has been known for his interesting work life outside the sport. The driver has been involved in various events and projects outside his beloved Formula 1 sport. Known for the socialite that he is and his many businesses that have seen huge success in the market. However, this has not stopped the Brit from trying out his luck in various other industries.
During the British Grand Prix, Hamilton revealed one of his amusing projects in the making. The F1 star was involved in the works of a Formula 1-based movie including Brad Pitt and Damson Idris. The movie, titled “Apex” made a huge buzz as many were excited to know what the genius mind of Hamilton had up his sleeve.

Soon it was revealed that the Mercedes star would be on board of the movie as a producer. Nonetheless, this did not reduce the excitement. However, the movie went on a hiatus as the writer’s strike commenced in the States. This stopped many movie promotions and shooting. But with the strike suspended, “Apex” started their shoot again.
Damson Idris took to his social media giving the fans a major update about the movie. He posted a video of himself in his “Apex” race suit and saying “See you all soon at work “
With the movie shooting starting again, fans are excited to know more.
Lewis Hamilton surprises drivers with unseen edited footage
As the “Apex” shoot begins again, fans are excited to see just what more is in store. According to the Silverstone shooting, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were one of the many drivers involved in the making of the film. Brad Pitt also gave an exclusive summary of the movie.
The F1-based movie will have F2 cars transformed into F1 cars. The plot will revolve around Damson Idris who will play the role of a rookie driver and will soon help the movie progress to the entry of Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt.
The Silverstone race was the first and last time anything was heard about the shooting or the updates of the movie. However, many drivers were seen getting involved in the process including Max Verstappen standing next to the cast before the race began.

However, it seems that the drivers got to take a look at the footage from the British GP. All the drivers were ushered to watch the unseen edited footage that the team recorded for the movie. With the strike suspended, Jerry Bruckheimer made an appearance to conduct a meeting to resume the movie shooting.
With the Mercedes star, Lewis Hamilton taking time to promote his Almave brand and the shooting coming back to the tracks, there may be a lot to look forward to for the last two races of the Formula 1 2023 season.
