Formula 1 has grown internationally in recent years. After the amount of exposure that came along over the Mercedes and Red Bull rivalry, it only kept growing. As Max Verstappen dominates the sport and it is being promoted more in the US, the viewership has spiked up. With that being said, many teams and circuits have bid to be a part of F1. However, the idea to progress into reality might take some time. The worldwide broadcasting may delay the entire process of having F1 on Apple TV.
Nonetheless, it has been estimated that Apple TV may take over the rights by 2029 while the process will begin around 2025. This will also double the current TV rights value. It is said that the deal which begins in 2025 will be a seven-year-long deal.
