Many MrBeast fans were taken aback by Chris Tyson’s revelation in the first week of April. A lot of them had noticed his rapidly changing visage. But when one fan questioned Tyson on Twitter, the YouTuber revealed that he was undergoing HRT, shocking fans. After the reveal, they eagerly waited for MrBeast to address the situation.
But they were in for another surprise as MrBeast would be forced to defend himself and Chris from a troll on Twitter. This troll criticized Tyson for undergoing HRT and changing so much about himself. They also questioned MrBeast and Tyson’s other friends’ decision to support him in the step he had taken to embrace his identity.
Opinion irrelevant. Ratio

The 4th most followed YouTuber simply replied to the troll, “Opinion irrelevant. Ratio.” He followed up that Tweet with another in which he tagged Chris Tyson. In it, the world-famous YouTuber wrote, “Here to help with the ratio.” Clearly, MrBeast was in full support of his friend’s decision and how difficult the road ahead may be for him. However, this didn’t satiate some people’s hunger for drama as they attempted to stir up some controversy by disparaging MrBeast through falsified DMs.
Alleged “leaked” DMs from MrBeast exposed as fake
After Chris Tyson’s revelation, some screenshots of an alleged conversation between MrBeast and one of his crew members “leaked” online. The screenshots showed the 24-year-old YouTuber telling the crew member to support Chris so that they wouldn’t get canceled. He further assuaged their doubts and assured them that he too was confused and taken aback by Tyson’s decision.
“We HAVE to support Chris. Like, it is critical to the business. Creators have been cancelled for less… We need to be completely supportive, even if it is awkward. We need to keep up our views. You’re not alone in your feelings… Just keep the status quo for now.” This was what the “leaks” alleged MrBeast to have said.
These alleged DMs from MrBeast are 💯 Fake! #DramaAlert

However, KeemStar clarified that these DMs were fake. Furthermore, it seems the person who faked these chats also created a sham employee page on 4Chan for MrBeast’s employees. On it, he wove false narratives about the YouTuber being two-faced and manipulative. Keemstar wrote, “These alleged DMs from MrBeast are 100[emoji] Fake! #DramaAlert”.
It seems this was a ploy by someone who doesn’t approve of Chris Tyson undergoing HRT and MrBeast’s decision to support his friend. Regardless, as things stand, Tyson is happily undergoing necessary, gender-affirming treatment while the MrBeast brand grows to unprecedented heights. It’s safe to say that regardless of their detractors, the two friends have made it in the world and will continue on their divergent yet similar paths to success.
