Recently, the new snack food firm Myna Snacks was introduced by its founders, Darcey Macken, a 15-year veteran of the CPG industry, and Imane Anys, also known as Pokimane.
The startup idea was formed after Anys started experiencing health concerns owing to excessive online streaming and bad food intake during the pandemic. Anys turned to eating a lot of junk food to stay energetic while entertaining her more than 6 million viewers.
“The food I was eating took a toll on my health,” Anys told USA TODAY. “I went on a health journey in
2021 and realized there aren’t many good food options. If I wanted a good-tasting snack, it would be
filled with unhealthy stuff. If I found something healthy, it would taste nasty,” Anys added.
Anys suggested launching a new snack firm in January during a meeting with Macken in order to attract customers who weren’t happy with the available health food options. The company would provide both tasty and healthful options. This snack is meant to be a healthy alternative for gamers and streamers.

“We’re going to call our first snack the Midnight Mini Cookies,” Macken said. According to Anys, like coffee, the Midnight Mini Cookies are a treat that can be enjoyed at any time of day. Myna Snacks’ debut product, the Midnight Mini Cookies, lives up to its name, which reflects both its appearance and flavor.
This venture comes after her fellow internet personalities also launched themselves into the food &beverage industry.
Pokimane gets compared to Amouranth
Amouranth, a Twitch streamer, is brewing a beer using her own vaginal microbes. The 29-year-old OnlyFans celebrity, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, has made headlines in the past for selling her farts in a jar and her old bath water for an outrageous $1,000 each, or $1,000 for a toot if you prefer. However, her most recent endeavor is sure to cause some people to take notice.
Amouranth is working with The Order of Yoni, a Polish beer firm, to market her exclusive brand of alcoholic beverage. The 2016-started Houston-based Twitch influencer has stated that she is “confident” her vaginal yeast drink would be a hit. She told Dexerto: ‘It’s hilarious. People will buy it for sure. I don’t know if they’ll actually drink it, I mean, they’ll probably drink it.’

Pokimane’s product is in line with the trend of influencers who have begun to introduce a variety of products to diversify their revenue streams. She joins the likes of Mr. Beast, who founded Beast Burger and Feastables, and Logan Paul & KSI, who created Prime in 2022. Additionally, there are others like Amouranth, who recently discussed some additional original company concepts.
Better than vaginal yeast beer

Pokimane’s new product has had some mixed and hilarious reactions from fans. The product from Pokimane has already sparked debate about its cost and genuineness.
@imguby compared her product with Amouranth’s beer and tweeted, “Better than vaginal yeast beer”. @MrBatesK408 tweeted, “Vaginal yeast cookies.”, suggesting a collaboration between the two. @operagxofficial tweeted on X “I prefer the Amourantj brewskies“.
Investigation by a few also found similarities between the Midnight Mini Cookies and a product from Creations Foods. It is another company in the Pacific Northwest known for its healthier snack options. This snack appeared to be available in Costco stores earlier this year. Some fans are now claiming that Myna Snacks lied about who created the cookies.
