SUMMARY
- Lawrence Sullivan, AKA, Florida Joker has issued an ultimatum to Rockstar Games.
- Sullivan says that he is being harassed in public with people asking to take a pic with him.
The highly anticipated GTA 6 trailer debuted to a resounding reception. The trailer featured numerous allusions and satires of actual events. According to reports, the Florida Joker was offended by a certain scene in the trailer and threatened to sue Rockstar for using the way he looked.
Sullivan, who gained notoriety in 2017 after his mugshot went viral and earned the moniker “Florida Joker,” reportedly resembles this culprit. The Florida Joker isn’t exactly like the figure in question from Grand Theft Auto 6, but Lawrence Sullivan quickly said that Rockstar had stolen his likeness and that he and the developer “needed to talk.”
In an effort to look more like the Grand Theft Auto 6 character, Sullivan also released a video, colored his hair purple, and began threatening legal action. Lindsay Lohan also filed a lawsuit against Rockstar Games for the same reason, one of many cases the firm has faced in the past.
Florida Joker gives a final warning to Rockstar Games
With threats of taking severe action against GTA 6, Florida Joker has found himself in the spotlight once more. Florida Joker Lawrence Sullivan recently uploaded another TikTok video in which he asked Rockstar Games for $10 million due to all the problems he is having with the purported character reference.
He said, “We gotta talk, this is a reminder to the final warning… I keep getting harassed wherever I go the more. I can’t eat even eat a goddamn pizza while someone asking can I have a picture this is… Joker. No, you can’t have a picture… I’m eating.”
Update 5: Florida Joker gives his final warning, demands $10 million and threatens to team up with the GTA 6 hacker who cost Rockstar $5 million and thousands of staff hours last year. https://t.co/No7zqOlnO4 pic.twitter.com/lopkEYpyDh

The Florida Joker further added, “…and you’re not gonna lock me up… you ain’t gonna put me in no psych ward. Keep playing with me, I’ll go break that kid out of the psych ward right now, and show you the real joker. I’ll break that kid out of the psych ward getting my laptop and we gonna hack your system again.”
The Florida Joker has Rockstar Games up until his birthday to meet his demands. In his final words, the Florida Joker seems to be referring to Arion Kurtaj, the hacker who was behind the 2022 game footage release.
Previously, on December 28, 2023, Florida Joker had already demanded $5 million from the studio. But this time, he changed his attire to more closely resemble the virtual Joker character from the trailer, and he doubled the ransom demand.
