Valve recently put an end to all the rumors and speculations by announcing that it will soon launch its brand new shooter Counter-Strike 2. The second edition will be a successor to the critically acclaimed CS:GO game. The gaming community accepted this news with joy since the fans had been long anticipating a second installment.
The game has gone through a complete makeover and now has added updated and improved maps, enhanced lighting, and better gameplay elements, as well as the backing of a new game engine. Several players are already beta-testing the game, exploring the new features and changes. The users are suggesting that there are numerous features that set Counter-Strike 2 apart from its predecessor.
CS2 makes use of the advanced technology of Source 2, which has made the game objects look more realistic. Players will be able to walk around and enjoy the colors and reflections. Besides CS2 is so detailed that players will also be able to see the legs and feet of their character on looking down. CS2 also utilizes better physics in this new game engine, ensuring smoke grenades are better.
We were extra active on Twitter this morning, which means there’s a CS2 update. Today we’re adding Casual, swapping out Mirage for Nuke and Office, making adjustments to audio, fixing the slow crouch bug, addressing bunny hopping and more! And you can now inspect grenades. pic.twitter.com/CMjRARG1rH

Apart from the visual improvements, there are also a number of sound and audio enhancements. The sounds are well-defined to allow players to trace the exact location and activity of opponents as well as easily identify if a dropped item is an explosive grenade, smoke, or decoy. Additionally, players can keep an eye on their dot on the map to notice the blue circle, which represents the radius where opponents can hear you.
