Logan Paul breathed a huge sigh of relief after dispatching Dillon Danis in their heavily anticipated fight last weekend. Although the fight was anything but impressive, Paul walked away with the victory in the end. However, despite the win, he feels as though he needs to apologize to his fiancee, Nina Agdal.
Throughout the build-up of the fight, Dillon Danis tormented Agdal, posting unsolicited and edited pictures of the Danish model. To make matters worse, Dillon also dug up old pictures of Nina and her previous partners, sharing them all on his X account. Thus it resulted in a lot of public humiliation, leading to a tense situation between Logan and Nina.
Speaking on the latest episode of Impaulsive, Logan revealed that he was very sorry for everything he put Nina through. “I’m eternally sorry for Nina, I’ll spend the rest of my life apologizing if I have to for putting her through that kind of torment. It’s inhumane what he did and she’ll hold him accountable but this is my life, I dragged her into this social media fight bullsh*t, she did not sign up for this”.
After weeks of taking jibes at her, the Maverick’s fiancee finally took the decision to sue Danis for his actions. Taking matters to court, Agdal filed for a lawsuit and restraining order against the BJJ ace. According to Dillon, Nina had reportedly sued him for numerous offenses, requiring him to pay up to $400,000 in damages.
Logan Paul is not keen on an MMA rematch with Dillon Danis
Prior to the fight, Logan and Dillon made a bet to have a rematch in MMA despite the outcome of the boxing match. However, the terms for this bet was that Dillon would have to forfeit his entire purse to Logan if he lost. Only then would the WWE star accept Dillon’s proposal to have a rematch in MMA. Following the fight, Logan has shared more on the situation and how it’s developing.
Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast, Logan was asked about the MMA rematch by Mike Majlak. According to the PRIME Hydration owner, the rematch is very unlikely. For one, Logan believes that Dillon will never part ways with his entire purse, which is said to be over $1 million. With his legal battles against Nina Agdal still pending, Dillon will seemingly need to manage his finances wisely. Secondly, Logan believes that Dillon simply does not deserve to be platformed, especially after his actions.
Coming into the fight, Dillon indulged in a lot of trash talk about Nina Agdal. Moreover, he went on numerous shows saying that he would knock out Logan. However, come fight night, Dillon put up what was arguably the worst performance of the night on the MF x DAZN Prime Card. Not only did he fail to hurt his opponent, but his demeanor during the fight resembled nothing like that of a fighter.
Recently, Piers Morgan also asked whether Dillon would be parting with his payout. Here, Dillon stated that he had appealed his disqualification loss, meaning that it could be overturned. Although it is very unlikely to happen, Danis believes that the UFC is his next destination. All things considered, the Logan-Dillon rivalry remains settled, at least for the time being
