The MMA fighter clearly showed his inexperience in the sport. Fans were let down by Danis who barely even threw a punch.
Danis took up the whole responsibility of creating hype for this match. He began a social media feud with Paul and his family over two months ago. It led to extraordinary bad blood between the two. Paul and his fiancee Nina Agdal even filed a lawsuit to stop Danis’ relentless trolling. However, the MMA fighter did not stop.
Throughout the feud, Danis kept reiterating how he was going to defeat Paul come October 14, 2023. However, Danis in the ring did not show any matching intentions with Danis on X (formerly known as Twitter). From the very first round, Danis had his defensive guards up. He had no intention of landing punches on Paul. His mindset seemed extremely negative and it felt like he just did not want to get knocked out.
Fans expressed their disappointment all over X. One fan wrote, “I’d give Nina a shot against Dillon in the ring at this point.”
