Vince McMahon and Triple H are two names who’ve probably made the biggest contributions to the success of WWE. Once, The Chairman of the board seemed to have no interest in his son-in-law’s safety during a WrestleMania enterance.
WWE’s Executive Chairman may not be a regular feature in the company anymore, but there was a time he had a major role to play. While the most influential name in the promotion, Vince also had a massive role in creative ideas and made some wild decisions throughout the years.
Among all the shocking decisions McMahon made, one of the most dramatic ones was when he had no concern for the life of his son-in-law, Triple H. It was during an iconic WrestleMania entrance of The Game that Stephanie’s father was so wild about the spot that he didn’t even care about the life of his daughter’s husband.

In a vintage video of The Game standing on a stand, McMahon appears on the scene and starts talking. Triple H is asked if he wants to go down, which he clearly denies. But Mr. McMahon insisted on bringing the stand down and said, “I have a little dusted interest here. I’ve already got my grandchildren. F*ck it.”
It must be noted that this iconic entrance took place at WrestleMania 31 in 2015. At the event, Triple H competed against Sting, which was the WCW legend’s debut match in WWE. The match was iconic in many ways for Hunter, as he first made his way to the ring in a grand manner and then ended up winning the encounter.
WrestleMania 40 has sold over 91,000 tickets
It’s been a long time since that iconic WrestleMania entrance of The Game, and now the legend serves as a prominent backstage figure in the promotion. His dedication to the sport has helped WWE once again get immense love from the fans in the past few years. His impact on the product is evident from the fact that Triple H’s company has already sold over 91,000 tickets for WrestleMania 40.
According to reports by Wrestling News, it has been revealed that the Stamford-based promotion has crossed the 91,000 ticket sales mark for its Biggest Event of 2024. This figure includes tickets for both days of the event, and these sales have broken WWE’s all-time gate record.
It must be noted that 2024’s WrestleMania will be held on April 6 and 7, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. As the event is still over seven months away, such huge advance sales are a major confidence booster for the company. It remains to be seen if the Stamford-based promotion can deliver matches and storylines that fulfill fans’ expectations from the show or not!
