WWE will launch a collection of NFT (non-fungible token) on its official NFT marketplace ‘WWE Moonsault.’ It will feature the biggest stars in the company in the current roster. The NFT collection will be a limited edition version.

WWE’s NFT marketplace was initially planned to be launched before WrestleMania 38, but it was delayed. the NFT had skyrocketed in 2021, and now Vince McMahon and WWE are making use of every possible trend to earn money.
WWE launches Moonsault for NFTs
WWE announced that they’ll drop their first collection tomorrow after the launch of its NFT marketplace ‘WWE Moonsault.’ The limited-edition collection of NFTs will include all the superstars associated with the Hell in a Cell premium live event.

WWE’s first NFT venture took place during WrestleMania 37. They released a collection of WWE legend and Hall of Famer Undertaker. Then again, WWE released another collection during the weekend of SummerSlam 2021, featuring John Cena. The company later announced the signing of a multi-year deal with FOX’s Blockchain Creative Labs in an attempt to create their own NFT marketplace.
Why are WWE NFTs so valuable?
The NFTs are actually exclusive digital tokens. These tokens are a digital version of WWE collectibles. BBC (British Broadcasting Centre) claims that NFTs are a very valuable asset in the world of digitalization. Just like the collectibles, the company is now working to make its version of NFTs. They now have their marketplace.

The John Cena/SummerSlam 2021 Platinum NFT collection was reportedly sold for $21,000. While Undertaker’s one-of-a-kind platinum NFT was sold for around $100,000. NFT is being sold for millions of dollars around the world. The NFT business is booming, and McMahon is understandably trying to make the most out of this digital phenomenon.
