WWE is full of rich generational heritage with the likes of the Anoa’i family, the Mysterios, and the McMahons. While all of them publicly share their roots, there are a few stars whose family relationships stay away from the limelight and one such bond is between Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt.
Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt are brothers in real life, and the sons of the former professional wrestler Mike Rotunda, their real-life names are Taylor Michael Rotunda and Windham Lawrence Rotunda respectively. Their grandfather was also a professional wrestler who came to be known as Blackjack Mulligan by his fans across the globe. (Via Bleacher Report)
The two brothers decided to step in their father and grandfather’s footsteps. However, their relationship never made the hype for the Stamford-based promotion considering the on-screen character of the two WWE stars. Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, in their respective professional wrestling careers, played most of their characters with a dark persona.
Bringing a family angle into their storylines would inevitably put them in a soft spot which the WWE Universe perhaps wouldn’t have liked on their personality. Sharing the ring in FCW as Rotunda Brothers, both Bo, and Bray found their way to WWE. However, Bo Dallas couldn’t establish himself as a top performer in the division in any way.
What is the Relationship between Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt?
Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt share almost the same personality and height. Despite trying multiple things with their appearances, one can easily see both brothers having similar smiles. All these factors leave the viewers wondering if the two WWE stars are twins. So, to clarify things, Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt aren’t twins.
In fact, the Rotunda Brothers have an age difference of 3 years. Bray Wyatt takes the privilege to be called the elder brother of the family. Despite being the younger brother, Bo couldn’t take advantage of what Bray was making of his professional wrestling career. Coming into WWE proved to be quite the wrong step for Bo. Not only was he booked poorly but also put his professional wrestling career to a standstill.
Bray Wyatt was promoted from a mediocre performer after the creation of the ‘Wyatt Family.’ Stars including Luke Harper and Braun Strowman became part of the in-ring family of Bray Wyatt. However, his real-life family, especially his brother, couldn’t familiarize the audience with his relationship with Bray. Bo can thus be considered unlucky in his professional wrestling run because of back-to-back storyline failures.
