Gigi Dolin and Darby Allin are popular names in the world of pro wrestling. While the former currently graces the ring of WWE, the latter can be seen in WWE’s rival promotion, AEW. They are both loved by their fans owing to their outstanding in-ring skills. However, what might be unknown to many is the fact that Dolin and Allin were once married.
Previously after dating for nearly four months, the couple got married in November 2018. However, they weren’t able to hold on to their marriage for a long period of time and announced their divorce in August 2020.
Later Dolin made an appearance on Vickie Guerrero’s ‘Excuse Me’ podcast. During that, she revealed the real reason why she and Allin got divorced.

The WWE Star said, “With us, we realize we got married really young and really fast. He proposed after dating me for four months. That works for some people but for us, we realized we were not mature enough to handle that label of marriage”.
She later added that many times the “label of marriage” adds an awful lot of stress to a relationship and decided to remove the stressful label to see how things turned out. That is why the WWE and AEW Superstars are no longer married to each other.
Gigi Dolin is still on friendly terms with Darby Allin despite divorce
Divorce might sometimes prove to be quite tough on the people involved. It might completely change the track ahead for the duo. However, that is not the case with Gigi and Darby. Despite their divorce, the pro wrestling stars continue to be on friendly terms with each other.
During the aforementioned interview, talking about their current relationship status, Dolin said, “Since we removed that label of being married, we’ve been getting along great. We are best friends. We hang out all the time, we never have any conflict”.
She added later that they still continue to have little issues since they are very young right now and are still trying to figure out matters regarding their careers and lives. According to her, people should not curse the term divorce.
Meanwhile, Gigi Dolin is currently involved in a relationship with pro wrestler Zachary Green, known for his time in the Stamford-based promotion as Nash Carter, since February 2023. On the other hand, there have been no details reported regarding Darby Allin’s current relationship status.

However, since the duo still remains on friendly terms, their fans might get to see them make an appearance together in the future. Till then, their supporters would wait eagerly to see what they’d have to present to their fans of the respective promotions from inside the squared circle.
