WWE organized a successful NXT No Mercy show on September 30, 2023, as all titles of the yellow brand were on the line. The event was headlined by Becky Lynch and Tiffany Stratton, as The Man defended her Women’s Championship against the young female superstar.
Even though the show, especially the main event, received a lot of praise from the pro wrestling world, fans probably missed was an appearance by Rhea Ripley. Due to The Eradicator’s absence from the show, the crowd wasn’t happy with the Becky vs. Tiffany Stratton bout.
The audience didn’t even shy away from expressing their disappointment for not having Ripley on the show, as they chanted her name heavily. As the audience missed Dirty Dom’s on-screen partner during the match, they were making chants of “We Want Mami.”

These chants were heard during Dominik Mysterio’s match on the NXT show as he defended his North American title against Trick Williams. Rhea’s absence worked heavily against Mysterio, as he lost his title on No Mercy.
With Dom no longer having the title, it remains to be seen how Rhea will help him regain it when she returns. Also, the response for Ripley on the yellow brand, makes it pretty clear that the 26-year-old star is being missed by fans, and they’re waiting eagerly for her to return to WWE.
Becky Lynch wants to decimate Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40
The WWE universe called out the performer who’s probably Lynch’s biggest competitor in terms of popularity. But it doesn’t seem like The Man got any bad effects from those chants, as the NXT Women’s Champion had even shared that she wants to decimate Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40.
This was revealed by the 5’6″-tall Irish pro wrestler during her recent interview with USA Today. In the conversation, the 36-year-old was talking about her future plans, and when questioned about what she thinks about 2024’s WrestleMania, Becky said that she wants it to be huge.
Sharing an interesting creative idea for a high-profile match against The Eradicator, The Man expressed her desire to go one-on-one against Mami. Taking the stakes at their peak, the Grand Slam Champion said, “Maybe it will be championship for championship, winner takes all. We’ll see.”

With this grand proposal for a winner takes all match at The Show of Shows, Becky cleared her intentions. Moreover, Ripley has also been open to a match against the Irish star. As both of them are willing to fight against each other, it now remains to be seen whether WWE books them for a blockbuster feud at The Grandest Stage of Them All or not.
