Bayley joined the WWE family in 2012 when she signed with NXT. She was part of the NXT roster for about 4 years. At NXT she was part of the 4-horsewomen along with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. During her career, she has won the NXT Women’s title, the Raw Women’s Title, the SmackDown Women’s title, and the WWE Women’s tag team titles. Bayley has been away from the company due to an injury. How long has she been out and when will she return? Let’s find out.
The final feud of Bayley
Becky Lynch took a break from WWE since she was pregnant. Since then, there were only 3 women who worked their rear ends the elevate the Women’s division. They were, Asuka, Bianca Belair and Bayley. Bayley’s heel turn was the best thing that happened to her. Her promo segments and builds to her fights all were a treat to the wrestling fans. She considered herself as the ‘Role Model‘ for the WWE Universe.
In 2021, she was in a feud with the SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. The feud kicked off during an episode of SmackDown. Bayley reminded Bianca that she was the first person to give Belair a loss.
The first title match between the two was at WrestleMania Backlash. Bianca Belair won the match and the match left the fans wanting more one-on-one matches between the two. The Role Model and Bianca went on to face each other again inside Hell in a Cell. It was another brutal match that Bianca won yet again.
The two were set to battle each other yet again at the Money In The Bank Pay-per-view. But then Carmella replaced Bayley due to an injury. She suffered a torn ACL during a training session at the WWE Performance Center. It was reported that Bayley will be out of action for several months.
Bayley’s final match in WWE you was on the June 25th episode of SmackDown. Bayley teamed up with Seth Rollins to face the team of Bianca Belair and Cesaro. Bayley and Rollins won the match via pinfall. Her last match was almost 8 months ago.
When will Bayley return?
ACL injuries are one of the worst. They are career-threatening injuries. It takes a minimum of 6 – 9 months to recover. With that being said, we can expect Bayley to make a return the week after the Elimination Chamber event or the night after WrestleMania.
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been teasing her return for a while now.

It would make perfect sense for Bayley to return and show up on Raw as Bianca is there and hopefully before WrestleMania.
When do you think the self-proclaimed role model going to return?
