He won multiple championships and established himself as a prominent wrestler. In 2019, he lost to his longtime friend Triple H at WrestleMania 35. That was the final match of The Animal’s career.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bautista portrayed the character ‘Drax the Destroyer‘ in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Batista’s transition from professional wrestling to Hollywood has garnered critical acclaim and expanded his fan base. However, one thing fans hate the most is their favorite stars aging. The prime reason for that is they have seen the rise of their favorite star since he or she was a rookie. Accepting the fact that the people we admire today, would get old and retire is the hardest pill to digest. Meanwhile, the fans on Twitter seem worried about Dave Bautista amid his latest look with the white beard is going viral on the internet:
Batista is only 54. He looks like 65 in this pic. Steve Austin and Booker T are older than him and they look good. Dave gotta shave that beard

Many fans may not know that when Batista began his wrestling career in 1999, he was already in his 30s. And when WWE Universe started to know and love The Animal, he was nearly in his 40s.
Moreover, the former 6-time World Heavyweight Champion was already 50 when he wrestled in his last WWE match. At the age of 54, though he can continue his acting career, a return to the squared circle seems uncertain.
Is Batista training to make an in-ring comeback?
As mentioned earlier, Dave Bautista, aka Batista last competed in a WWE ring back in 2019. It was a No holds barred match against The Game, Triple H at WrestleMania 35. Furthermore, The Animal ended up losing the bout. After the match, Dave said that he is done with wrestling.
However, as there is a saying in wrestling, “Never say never”. Recently, a former World champion was spotted training with a WWE star, Titus O’Neil. Titus shared a post on Instagram with a picture alongside Batista and a caption, “So great training tonight with @davebautista @matheusandre1 and @joshraff_ tonight. Workout # 3 on the day was FUN 😎”.
