In 2023, few WWE performers generated as much heat with wrestling audiences as Dominik Mysterio. The only son of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, has made a significant transition.
He shifted from being an unpopular tag team specialist in a negative way to becoming an even more unpopular but positively received heel as the smarmiest member of RAW’s most popular heel faction, The Judgment Day.
During an interview on the Ringer Wrestling Show, “Grand Slam” Finn Balor expressed his immense pride in the Judgment Day faction as a whole and Dominik Mysterio’s progress as a pro wrestler.
“All three. I thought they were good. I didn’t know they were that good. Damian [Priest], I knew he had it in him. He just didn’t….maybe he didn’t realize it himself or he needed that extra like kick up the a** to kind of get going.”
And I feel like in the last couple of months, especially since winning Money In The Bank, and becoming Señor Money In The Bank, he’s really stepped it up a gear,” Finn Balor said. (Via- SE Scoops)
Finn Balor acknowledged that Dominik Mysterio’s warm reception was initially due to being a Hall of Famer’s son. However, as he stepped out from that shadow and pursued his own path. He transformed as a wrestler, Balor praised Dominik’s growth outside the ring, his promo skills, and significant in-ring improvement.
Are Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley dating in real life?
In real life, Rhea Ripley is not in a relationship with Dominik Mysterio. However, she plays a pivotal role as the sole woman in the Judgment Day faction, showcasing her badass persona.

The story commences with the Eradicator’s attempt to persuade Dominik to join Judgment Day and betray his own father. Ripley successfully accomplished this, as Dominik shockingly turned against his father last year to align with Ripley.
In their romantic storyline, Dominik lovingly refers to Rhea as “Mami,” which has become her nickname. WWE programming has also featured them going on dates. While fans wondered whether Dominik and Ripley were dating in real life, Rhea clarified that they are merely friends and not romantically involved off-screen.
