Dwayne Johnson is one of the most influential personalities in the world and has had great success in his WWE and Hollywood careers. Alongside this, Dwayne is also a UFC fan, and he recently showed it again by sharing an uplifting message for a UFC fighter.
This happened after MMA fighter Dustin Poirier fell short of retaining the BMF belt at UFC 291, as he suffered a brutal KO loss at the hands of Justin Gaethje. In his post-fight press conference, Dustin said, “We’re not at a funeral here. I’ve won. I’ve won life. I’ve already won. Where I come from, I’ve already won.” (Via: MMA Junkie)
Dwayne took note of Dustin’s comments in the post-fight conference and uplifted the fighter after a brutal KO loss at UFC 291. He said, “Love this perspective so much 💎👏🏾. Life lessons we can pass on to our little ones. Whatever it is that you sign up for, make sure you absolutely love it because anything can happen ~ and it’s does. Love this dude. Massive respect brother @DustinPoirier.“

The People’s Champion’s uplifting words for the UFC fighter are being appreciated by fans from UFC as well as WWE. Not only fans, Dustin Poirier also responded to Dwayne Johnson’s uplifting message. He wrote, “Appreciate you bro.”
It must be noted that Poirier had previously defeated his opponent Justin Gaethje. He did it in the main event of UFC on FOX 29, but he wasn’t able to do the same at UFC 291. Dustin was knocked out with a head kick just one minute into the second round of the fight.

Looking at the success Dwayne has achieved in his WWE and Hollywood careers, it seems that he made the right decision. However, it would have been crazy to see the People’s Champion fight it out in the UFC.
