The WWE Universe has become very eager to expect the unexpected. With multiple returns and surprise appearances, the excitement of WWE fans for WrestleMania 39 cannot be expressed in words. One name that is taking quite a lot of space is the WWE Hall Of Famer – ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.
While Austin graced the same Premium Live Event last year, will he be present to grace it this time too? Speaking on the ‘Casual Conversations with The Classic,’ Stone Cold seems to have broken the ice. “I haven’t heard anything,” revealed Steve Austin. With hardly ten days left for the event, this hints at a big no from the star.

Steve Austin talked of the current stars that are signed to the WWE and have the capacity to make any event a blockbuster. “WWE has got as good a roster as they’ve had since the Attitude Era. They got a deep roster, so I think many guys and gals need those coveted spots,” he said. WrestleMania 39 already has multiple matches on its card. However, there is always room for a new match.
The WWE Hall Of Famer didn’t fail to acknowledge the talent that WWE is producing in the latest bookings. He believes that the management should pick the budding talents and give them a spot at the two-day event at the SoFi Stadium. Steve Austin is also quite sure of the name and popularity that the appearance may bring to the future of these stars.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was rumored to square off against the top names in WWE
There have been multiple matches that were pitched for WrestleMania including the ones with Steve Austin. However, it was Roman Reigns, LA Knight, and Brock Lesnar who had been the pitched opponents for Stone Cold. However, as the storylines developed, the plans now seem to be immensely bleak.

Steve Austin, in the same video, also didn’t give a clear update on his WrestleMania status. When asked if he will be present at the event, he said, “to be determined.” The WWE HOF’er made a grand return at WrestleMania 38 where he faced Kevin Owens. This year will mark two decades of his retirement hinting at a possible return that he can make in California as WrestleMania goes Hollywood.
