Joe Rogan is one of the most well-recognized comedians and media personalities in the world. He first made his name in the world of MMA and was also the host of Fear Factor. Rogan is also a standup comedian and a commentator for the UFC. He is also the host of the popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast, where he has made several comments on pro wrestling and how it is scripted. Another comment made by Rogan has not sat well with WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW personality Mark Henry.
Speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, the former World Heavyweight Champion did not take too kindly to the latest controversy surrounding Joe Rogan. Rogan called the late great Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka’s splash ridiculous, a comment Henry took to heart. The Hall of Famer also stated that the UFC commentator was being “ultra disrespectful.” Henry also stated that despite trying to be funny, Rogan’s comments did not come off as such.
“He used the words ‘ridiculous’ as regards to [sic] Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka’s splash. Jimmy is not here with us no more. And I took that really to heart as being ultra disrespectful. I guarantee there are a lot of fans of pro wrestling who will look at him differently after seeing what he said and all the negativity that came behind [the comments]. He’s a comedian, he might put it on the fact, ‘I’m a comedian, I was trying to be funny.’ Well, you’re not a good comedian because it was not funny,” Henry said.
Henry added that the MMA community’s slander towards pro wrestling comes from the need for attention. The AEW announcer went on to say that Joe Rogan has no grounds to criticize anyone because he has not been at the top of the sport. He concluded that Rogan has shown a lack of respect and an unwillingness to learn about the pro wrestling industry.
Joe Rogan’s use of the n-word has been slammed by Samuel L. Jackson
Joe Rogan landed himself in hot waters after several celebrities took him to task for his over usage of the n-word. India Arie was the first to open up about this and shared on Instagram that the comments were inappropriate. Rogan seemingly has a habit of using the n-word on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, and has been doing so repeatedly.
After the complaint, Rogan apologized for using the word while also calling it a “political hit job.” His apology, however, has not been accepted by legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson. The actor stated that anyone in the media can only use the word if it fits the context and the story. Otherwise, the use of any such word was blatantly inappropriate.

“He is saying nobody understood the context when he said it, but he shouldn’t have said it. It’s not the context, dude — it’s that he was comfortable doing it. Say you’re sorry because you want to keep your money, but you were having fun, and you say you did it because it was entertaining.”
Roegan has landed himself in fresh controversy over his comments about pro wrestling and the fact that it is ‘fake.’ It remains to be seen whether he will agree to discuss the matter with Mark Henry.
