One would expect Nate Diaz to have tattoos because of his personality. Needless to say, tattoos have often been associated with a good physique. Tattoos can often be a symbol of something that acts as a reminder. Additionally, it could also reveal the individual’s emotional attachment. While fighters with tattoos certainly grab people’s attention, fighters without a single tattoo often get questioned for their decision to not ink themselves. Needless to say, there are a lot of forums where fans discuss the reason why Nate Diaz doesn’t have tattoos.
Nate Diaz and Nick Diaz don’t have tattoos
While it’s a personal preference, it can be argued that the Diaz brothers did not want to fall into the stereotype of being fighters and having tattoos. Some fans feel that having tattoos is an easy show of a tough act, however, the Diaz Brothers brought and bred on the streets of Stockton, California don’t want to have tattoos to prove it.

Some fans also argue that Diaz disinterest in the “thug life” or “street life” and also the “fight life” so to say, considering the Diaz Brothers have always seen the UFC and the MMA world as nothing more than a fight to earn some money. They have never looked at fights inside the Octagon as competition, even getting irritated on various occasions on being asked whether they are excited to fight inside the cage.
Needless to say, having tattoos doesn’t make anyone look tougher. At the end of the day, it’s a personal choice that could be a result of several factors.
What is Nate Diaz’s nickname?
Nate Diaz doesn’t have a nickname, and both the brother go with the moniker the “Stockton Sluggers.” The word “Slugger” translates to hard hitters, which might seem ironic to many considering the fighting style of the Diaz brothers which is largely based on volume punching and submission game.
It can be argued that the Diaz brothers never wanted to play in the game of fighting which is often dominated by fighters with flashy tattoos and nicknames. While the Diaz brothers aren’t the only fighters to fall in that line of athletes, they are quite evidently one of the most popular fighters to not have a tattoo.

Needless to say, despite having spent more than a decade in the UFC, Nate Diaz continues to take on the top names in the promotion and has time and again proved his credibility inside the cage.
