Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest attraction in the WWE, and he has been so for a long time now. His character growth over the years has been brilliant, and it has helped him immensely in his in-ring performances too.
Roman Reigns has surpassed different records throughout his ongoing Undisputed title run, and many believe he is already among the most successful WWE performers in terms of wins. But that’s not exactly true, as Roman is not even in the top 10 wrestlers with the most wins in WWE history.
This was revealed in a recent tweet by ChanMan, as he released the list of the top 15 wrestlers with the most wins in WWE history. Let’s take a look at the wrestlers who have more wins than Roman Reigns, despite his 1068+ days title run as the WWE Undisputed Champion.
Roman Reigns is ranked fifteenth among the wrestlers with the most WWE wins, as he has 994 wins in his WWE career. The list is topped by the legendary Bret Hart, as he has a total of 1882 wins in his WWE career, which is the most in WWE’s history. Bret is followed by WWE legends such as The Undertaker, John Cena, Tito Santana, Hulk Hogan, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Shawn Michaels, and Matt Hardy.
These iconic performers are followed by still-active WWE superstars Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, and Sheamus.”The Game” Triple H is in the fourteenth position among performers with the most wins in WWE history, with 1032 wins, and he is then followed by the Undisputed Champion, Roman Reigns.
Looking at the way Roman is currently performing and the age factor still being on his side, it seems The Tribal Chief will surpass a lot of legendary names from this list. If he continues securing wins as he’s currently doing, he can probably position himself among the top few WWE wrestlers with the most wins in WWE history.
Roman Reigns’ WWE SummerSlam record
Since his debut in late 2012, Roman Reigns’ has performed pretty well at all WWE events, but WWE SummerSlam holds a special place in his WWE career due to his impressive record at the event. Roman’s first SummerSlam match was in 2014 when he defeated Randy Orton in a singles match.
In 2015, Roman Reigns teamed up with Dean Ambrose to defeat The Wyatt Family in an entertaining match at SummerSlam. Roman’s next appearance was in 2017, as he was involved in a fatal four-way match against Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman. The match was one of the best fatal four-way matches in recent times, as Brock Lesnar was able to retain his Universal title.
Roman’s next SummerSlam appearance resulted in a title win as he defeated Brock for the Universal Championship in the main event of SummerSlam 2018. His next appearance at the Biggest Party of the Summer was at SummerSlam 2020, as he returned after Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman’s Universal title match.
At SummerSlam 2021, Roman defeated WWE legend John Cena to retain his Universal Championship and this cemented his title run. Last year, at SummerSlam 2022, Roman came out on top against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match for the Undisputed title.
All these wins over the years showcase how great WWE SummerSlam has been in Roman Reigns’ career. The Tribal Chief will now defend his Undisputed title against Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime match, as Roman’s Tribal Chief title will also be up for grabs. It’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top at WWE’s Biggest Party of the Summer on August 5.
