Sean O’Malley is scheduled for a fight against former bantamweight champion Petr Yan that will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. After months of banter on social media between Yan and O’Malley, this matchup will finally take place at the UFC 280 PPV on October 22nd.
To build this highly anticipated PPV up, the promotion organized a live UFC 280 press conference that featured Sean O’Malley, Belal Muhammad and former lightweight champion and PPV headliner Charles Oliveira. This press conference took place in London in the United Kingdom ahead of the big event.
After the press conference was over, Suga Sean gave an interview to TheMacLife where he discussed some topics around his upcoming fight. During this conversation, one of the questions which were directed toward O’Malley was about his thoughts on the girls in England.

Interestingly, the bantamweight star expressed his dissatisfaction and compared it with the girls that are there in the United States of America.
“Very disappointed I’m gonna be honest. I’m gonna be honest, maybe I haven’t been to the right places. But very well I just came from Miami too where you literally walk outside and you’re just turning your head every chick’s at least a seven so maybe that’s playing into it or I’ve not been to the right places.”
Is Sean O’Malley in an open relationship with his wife Danya Gonzalez?
Sean O’Malley is currently married to longtime partner Danya Gonazalez and interestingly, the couple are in an open relationship. The bantamweight star openly admitted to having flings with other girls during several interviews and explained the perks of being in such a non-monogamous relationship.

From the reaction on social media, it is needless to say that fight fans were initially confused after O’Malley revealed that he was in an open relationship with his wife Danya. Thereafter Suga Show also cleared things out by saying that his wife is cool with their open relationship status and they have equal freedom in their choices.
So as long as both O’Malley and Danya are living happily then it doesn’t matter, irrespective of the thoughts of many people who have criticized their relationship. However, shifting the topic back to his upcoming fight, O’Malley will unarguably compete in one of the biggest fights of his career against a tough opponent like Petr Yan.
From the looks after the press conference, Suga Show is highly confident of his chances against the former champion. Do let us know in the comments section who you think will win this bantamweight matchup at UFC 280.
