Stephen Thompson is one of the most beloved fighters in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). While fighters like Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, and Conor McGregor are famous for their savagery on the mic, Thompson has always maintained a clean image in front of the camera. Hence, his dating life has been a mystery as well.
Although Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson has kept his private life out of the public domain, fans have figured out the identity of his partner. Currently, he is in a relationship with Keri McKittrick. There are reports of her being a registered nurse. But not much is available about her on the internet. With less than 1k followers on Instagram, it is apparent that she keeps a pretty low profile.
However, she does post a lot of pictures of both her and “Wonderboy” together. While there is no word on when their relationship started, Thompson commented on one of her posts, “You soo gorgeous.” The first time Wonderboy commented on any of her posts was in July 2020. So it can be assumed that Thompson and Keri McKittrick started their relationship around that time.
Stephen Thompson’s UFC record
Stephen Thompson is a two-time welterweight title contender. He has been one of the most exciting fighters to watch in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) of all time. Coming from a kickboxing background, Thompson usually keeps the fights on his feet and often puts on thrillers for the fans.
After an undefeated career in kickboxing with a record of 20-0-1, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson made his MMA debut in 2010, against Jeremy Joles. After amassing a record of 5-0, Thompson joined the UFC and made his debut against Dan Stittgen at UFC 143 in 2012. Although he won his first fight, Thompson lost the very next one to the legendary Matt Brown.
After that, Thompson went on an unbelievable run and remained unbeaten in 7 fights. It included wins over Rory MacDonald, Johny Hendricks, Robert Whittaker, and Patrick Cote. It earned him an opportunity to fight then-champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 205. It made for an epic match-up that ended in a majority draw. But, Wonderboy fell short in the rematch at UFC 209.
It kicked off a run of bad losses for the once-invincible fighter. From UFC 209 onward, Thompson’s resume includes 4 wins and 5 losses. Fighters such as Darren Till, Anthony Petts, Gilbert Burns, and Belal Muhammad have been able to beat the veteran striker. Despite 6 career losses, only Pettis was the one who KO’ed Wonderboy.
Currently, Stephen Thompson’s MMA record stands at 17 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw. He will fight the unbeaten welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakhmonov on the main card of UFC 296 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
