As the UFC heads to Paris this weekend, where Ciryl Gane takes on Serghei Spivac in the main event, we take a look at the fight purses of the fighters involved. There are 2 big names on the card in the form of Rose Namajunas, a former champion, and Gane, a former interim heavyweight champion. As such, these two are likely to make the most of the fighters, and also why they are headlining the event.
According to UFC boss, Dana White, it is known that you eat what you kill here in the UFC. Putting it simply, the fighters who fight and perform well will be rewarded accordingly. Along with fight purses, the fighters with the most exciting performance of the night also get a bonus, which is to the tune of $50,000.

As the UFC is notorious for keeping the fight purses confidential, we’ll have to look at what these fighters earned in the past to speculate about their earnings for UFC Paris.
UFC Paris salaries revealed
In total, the UFC is likely to pay out over $1.2 Million in salaries, incentives, and bonuses at UFC Paris according to Sports Daily. At UFC 285, where Gane headlined the event alongside Jon Jones in their heavyweight title fight, the former is said to have received $500,000 for the night. This was in spite of the fact that Gane lost the fight in the very first round via submission.
Moreover, the fight lasted a mere 2:04 seconds before the Frenchman tapped out. Half a million dollars for two minutes doesn’t sound too bad. At UFC Paris, Gane is set to make a base salary of $361,000. This, coupled with sponsorship and potential bonuses, is likely to take the tally over $500,000.

His opponent, Spivac, has reportedly earned $310,000 for his win against Derek Lewis. This was a sum total of his base salary and sponsorship. It has been said that the Moldovan will earn around $161,000 as his base salary this weekend.
The former strawweight champion, Namajunas, is set to be the second highest-paid fighter at UFC Paris, bringing in a whopping $211,000 for her flyweight battle against Manon Fiorot of France. This is in contrast to her purse of $500,000, which she earned during her loss to Carla Esparza at UFC 274.
Other fighters who are set to earn a good payday include Thiago Moises, who will earn $78,000 against Benoit Saint-Denis. Additionally, Volkan Oezdemir will probably make in excess of $66,000 against UFC debutant Bogdan Guskov. Would you be willing to get in the ring for this kind of money? Let us know.
