Joe Rogan is arguably the most popular podcaster in the world right now, and one of the reasons for the success of his podcast is Rogan’s flair for having conversations about any topic. The UFC commentator hosts guests from all sectors and loves to dive into the deepest details of things.
Apart from being a top comedian and a commentator for the UFC, Rogan is an avid fight fan. He often does a segment called ‘Fight Companion’, which usually features fellow comedians Brendan Schaub, Bryan Callen, and Eddie Bravo along with Rogan.
In a recent episode of Fight Companion, Rogan and his guests were talking about the people they could impersonate. Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub revealed that Joe does a good impression of former President Barack Obama and requested him to do it for the guests. Rogan took no time to flaunt his mimicry skills and one has to admit that he was spot-on with his impersonation.
While Rogan did not mention anything particular about Obama, his impression made news because historian David Garrow has recently made some surprising claims about the politician in a long interview with Tablet. Garrow, who has also penned Obama’s biography, ‘Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama’, has called him ‘lazy’ and ‘as insecure as Trump’.
“He’d be terrible because he’s too lazy. This is in the book. It goes back to him being Hawaiian,” said the historian when he was asked whether the ex-President should serve on the Supreme Court.
Garrow was also in the news previously for revealing in his book that Obama had fetishes for making love to other men when he was younger.
Joe Rogan thinks Barack Obama was the ‘best of all time’
In an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, the host disclosed that, according to him, Barack Obama was the best President of the United States of America. The UFC commentator also accepted that while the former President did not have to go through a lot of adversity, Obama still stands out as the best ever to have led his country.
Rogan also appreciated the two-time US President for his education and articulation. “He’s the best of all time—the most educated, eloquent, and even-keeled. And he was a statesman, and the way he spoke inspired confidence that truly the wisest amongst us is the king,” said Joe Rogan.
This has had a mixed reaction from fans, as many of them believe that Joe’s primary audience will not be too thrilled by these comments by the popular podcaster. However, Rogan has been known to have strong opinions about many things, and he does not shy away from talking about them in his podcast. So what are your thoughts on the matter?
