Joe Rogan is a name that is known in many subfields of the entertainment industry. The UFC commentator also hosts his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience which is considered one of the most prominent podcasts across the world. Rogan’s podcast has gained everyone’s attention because of his intriguing conversations with his guests. He has invited famous personalities like Miley Cyrus, Nikki Glaser, Mike Tyson, and even Elon Musk himself.
Rogan had a very positive take on Elon Musk taking over Twitter. Elon Musk purchased Twitter in October 2022 for a staggering sum of $44 billion and left the world in a daze. And Rogan, in his podcast shared his opinion about the takeover and things beyond it with his guest Bridget Phetasy.
Phetasy was featured in episode #1890, where they both exchanged their views on the takeover.
“People are enjoying that, it’s an ideological thought bubble. They think that Twitter has only enforced left-wing ideologies and they have suppressed conservative ideologies, even from the reasonable kind,” said the JRE host. Joe then proceeded to make his point even more clear.
He discussed the repercussions that would occur when people follow the same ideologies. They further discussed parallel economies. “That’s what Elon wants to bring back to Twitter is a reasonable exchange of ideas,” added Rogan. They also appreciated how someone so wealthy is aiming to make a platform like Twitter a better place to exchange ideas and not just a platform to argue and disagree with one another.
Elon Musk has decided to step down from the CEO position
Elon Musk in his $44 Million takeover also stated that he would be in charge only for some time. Following this, the Billionaire announced in December 2022 that he would be stepping down as CEO due to ‘too much work’. But unlike Joe Rogan, not many were not fond of the changes made in the policies of Twitter.
But in his very recent tweet, Elon mentioned hiring a lady to assume the post of Twitter’s CEO. and she would start in 6 weeks. The ‘lady’ in question is going to be an NBC-Universal executive Linda Yaccarino. Yaccarino serves as the chairman of global advertising and partnerships at her organization.
I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!@LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology.
Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app. https://t.co/TiSJtTWuky

But Elon Musk is not the only entrepreneur who Joe keeps up with. In one of his more recent episodes, he discussed Mark Zuckerberg and his abilities in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Joe Rogan also describes how ‘threatening’ he thinks AI is in many of his recent episodes. Namely, his voice was recently cloned and used to make a fake podcast.
