Ilia Topuria is already walking a UFC Champion as far as how he has been acting around lately. He has changed his MMA record to 15-0 on his Instagram bio and is already calling himself a UFC champion. It doesn’t just stop here, Topuria is also recording a documentary titled “Road to the Belt.” And, of course, Topuria hasn’t even won the title yet.
For him to do the things he is doing, it speaks highly of the confidence that Topuria is bringing to the table, but whether or not it will all pay off, only time will tell.
Call it arrogance if you want, I call it faith. I shed every drop of sweat and every drop of blood to honor my destiny. On February 17th, I will claim what is mine. #AndNew #15 🌹

It’s only sometimes that you see such a build-up, and the back and forth leading upto the fight is testimony that things could heat up even more as we move closer to UFC 298.
Alexander Volkanovski ready to teach a lesson to Ilia Topuria
Ilia Topuria hasn’t shied away from taking shots at Alexander Volkanovski, and it seems like he is finally getting Volkanovski’s attention. The UFC featherweight, in a recent conversation with mainevent on YouTube, shared his thoughts on Topuria‘s trash-talk and what he makes of his documentary.
“I don’t care of the fact that he did that, but that just shows me where he’s at. He literally doesn;t…he’s happy with things given to him.” Volkanovski said.
“This documentary, like who cares. This is just one chapter. Now they are going to need a couple of extra ones just so they can, you know, there are going to need a one or two, because he ain’t getting it this time. So the road to the title isn’t going to be accomolished yet, so he’s going to need another documentary after that one.” He further added.
Alexander Volkanovski did not hold back at all and promised to give a humbling lesson to Ilia Topuria. He even went to the length to say that Topuria will come out a “better human, better father” after losing at UFC 298.
Volkanovski did not stop here and further mocked Topuria’s documentary, joking how he might need a sequel to finish his story. As for UFC 298, The Great Alexander Volkanovski believes it’s gonna be an easy night for him in Anaheim, Calirfornia. And he can’t wait for Ilia Topuria to change his Instagram bio after everything is said and done.
