Nate Diaz trashed Leon Edwards after the former called out Jorge Masvidal for accepting the symbolic BMF rematch against Nate Diaz rather than fighting him to determine the next contender for the UFC Welterweight title. Leon Edwards took to Twitter and called out Jorge Masvidal for a fight. Edwards claimed that a win over Nate Diaz does no good for Masvidal and that he doesn’t get to call himself a BMF by beating somebody he battered for three straight rounds. Edwards asked Masvidal to step up and take the fight.

Nate Diaz shot right back at Leon Edwards and claimed that he is at the last place because he got “f****ed in the back for acting like’ he was “tight.” Diaz also mentioned Khabib Nurmagomedov in his tweet with a reference “that goes for kabob also.” In the process, Diaz also claimed that he is a bigger draw than both Khabib and Leon and that they are in the last place.
You got fucked up in the back for acting like you were tight.
This fight shit is the same everywere, in or out of the cage… don’t get punked ever.
That goes for kabob also,

Nate Diaz to take on Jorge Masvidal in BMF rematch
Recently, UFC President Dana White revealed that the promotion is working on booking the BMF title rematch sometime in early 2021. While it was earlier reported to take place in the same card as Kamaru Usman vs Gilbert Burns, that may not be the case. If reports are to be believed Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz could headline the January PPV.

In the first fight, Jorge Masvidal completely dominated Nate Diaz throughout the three rounds of the fight. Masvidal was able to land several significant strikes on Diaz. Masvidal won the fight via doctor stoppage at the end of the third round. Diaz is currently ranked #12 in the UFC Welterweight rankings, and it’s only his star power that has put him in a match-up against Jorge Masvidal.

Nate Diaz could well be looking at a title opportunity if he can get past Masvidal in the rematch. Regardless of the outcome of the fight, it’s a rematch that many fight fans have shown incredible interest in. While Masvidal fan believes that he didn’t get to finish Nate Diaz, the fans of the Stockton Slugger think that Diaz would have come out stronger in the Championship rounds. Be that as it may, it was a dismal end to the much-anticipated title match for the symbolic BMF belt.
