He said, “He’s killing it. F*cked up Luke Rockhold last fight. Made him quit, knocked his teeth out. He’s f*cking everybody up because he is such an animal… There’s not a tougher human being alive than Mike Perry. He’s like uniquely suited for bare-knuckle fights. He’s such a fucking savage. He is willing to kill or be killed… He knows how to fight bare-knuckle, he’s clever.”
Perry captioned the reel, “Really appreciate it @joerogan ! I’m on fire @bareknucklefc.”
The 32-year-old held a 14-8 record in MMA before moving on to bare-knuckle. He joined the BKFC and won three out of three fights since February 2022. His latest fight was against former UFC Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. Perry hit Rockhold with a brutal punch that chipped his tooth and made him quit. Rockhold had to get several stitches on his lip and also had to get dental work done for his damaged teeth.

As of now, Perry is a backup fighter for the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis boxing bout. If any of the fighters back out, Perry will step in. Danis, who has been served with a lawsuit is reportedly the likelier one to pull out. However, Rockhold is confident that Paul will not fight Perry.
Mike Perry announces potential opponent for his next bare-knuckle fight
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Perry hinted at his potential opponent in bare-knuckle fighting. He said, “I heard that they’re talking about November-December against a possible [opponent]. I don’t know if I should say it, I don’t want to get in trouble. Maybe it was my last co-main event. That’s easy work for me. Cut the check and cut his neck.”
Eddie Alvarez made his bare-knuckle debut at BKFC 41 as a co-headliner with Perry vs. Rockhold. Alvarez, who is a former UFC Lightweight champion, won his bout via a split decision against Chad Mendes.

Since his victory, Alvarez had wished to compete in bare-knuckle fighting again. At this point, Perry is one of the biggest names that is available. An Alvarez vs. Perry bout at BKFC is highly likely in the coming months.
