Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who overlooks some of the largest social media platforms, seems to be adamant about his possible physical confrontation with fellow billionaire, Elon Musk. The two are reportedly on their way to face each other in a cage fight. What was initially considered online banter now appears to become a reality as the two tech moguls continue to fuel the fire.

Earlier this month, Elon Musk tweeted that he was willing to participate in a cage fight against Zuckerberg. The Facebook chief was quick to confirm his competition when he wrote “Send me location” in an Instagram story. UFC president Dana White has since been doing everything in his power to host the fight in the Octagon.
However, if recent reports are to be believed, the fight may not happen in Vegas anymore. In fact, the bout that was seemingly canceled at one point will now likely take place at the grandest of venues.
Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg might happen at Rome’s Colosseum
On June 29, TMZ Sports reported that an Italian government official contacted the Meta CEO about staging his Elon Musk fight at Rome’s Colosseum. Sources with direct knowledge shared with the outlet that the Minister of Culture reached out to Mark about hosting the bout at arguably the world’s most famous historical battleground.
TMZ reported that the anonymous sources have also shared that both Elon and Mark would love for the fight to go down in the most fabled fight theater in history. Apparently, Mark’s people have already passed on the message to the UFC boss Dana White, whose people in turn have contacted the minister.

As for the venue itself, it also happens to be one of the 7 wonders of the world. In hundreds of years, there haven’t been large events held inside the nearly 2,000-year-old elliptical amphitheater. Only a few hundred spectators can be seated in temporary seating provided within the theater.
Most notably, Sir Paul McCartney from The Beatles performed inside the Colosseum in 2003. The exclusive charity show was held before 400 people, who reportedly paid up to $1,500 at the time. Other than that, all other concerts have been held just outside the renowned structure. Thus, it is unclear where Musk vs. Zuckerberg would go down – inside or outside.
Musk quips at the Colosseum battle
Needless to say, the aforementioned report spread around like wildfire, given the magnitude of the potential fight. And to continue stirring excitement and amusement among fans, Elon Musk shone a light on the same. The SpaceX boss, who recently turned 52, wrote in a tweet – “Some chance fight happens in Colosseum”
The cryptic tweet has left netizens wondering, considering the not-so-predictable behavior of Musk. TMZ has reaffirmed that both Musk and Mark are “all in,” and have been negotiating with Dana multiple times a day.

The biggest and most obvious obstacle is the height and weight disparity between the two. But Dana has seemingly found a solution for that as well. The UFC boss earlier explained on The Pat McAfee Show that the fight will probably be an exhibition bout since the NSAC wouldn’t likely sanction it.
Mark reportedly weighs around 155 lbs at a height of 5’7″. Whereas Elon towers over him at 6’2″ and weighs around 230 lbs. Regardless of the significant differences, fans seem to be completely on board to watch the two billionaires throw down.
Both parties have strengthened their candidacy by sharing glimpses of themselves undergoing training for the proposed fight. And now that Italy wants to host the match, the buildup to the fight has taken quite an interesting turn.
