The 55-year-old comedian has received much backlash during his career spanning multiple avenues. Be it his opinions on COVID-19 vaccination or his commentary in UFC fights, Rogan has found himself under scrutiny several times.
Recently, Joe decided to crack open a can of Bud Light, a famous beer brand, on his podcast. But the Texas resident is receiving a lot of heat for it. The issue comes to light after Bud Light brought a new personality on board to promote their brand. In a pair of videos, the brand announced trans activist and TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney as their latest spokesperson.

Fans know the 26-year-old to detail her gender transition in everyday videos on the social media giant, TikTok. Boasting a whopping 1.8 million followers on her Instagram, the California native took to the platform and revealed her new endorsement.
The trans activist told her fans that the beer company sent her packs of Bud Light featuring the TikTok star’s face printed on them. This was their way to celebrate ‘365 Days of Girlhood’, Dylan’s grand return to the stage in a one-night-only variety show.
Another clip featured Dylan drinking Bud Light in a bathtub as part of their campaign. Ever since the announcement, critics haven’t stopped spooking the brand for their recent choice of spokesperson. Several Twitter users have marked out the campaign as an attempt to press gender propaganda.
Who the hell at @budlight thought it was a good idea to make a grown man who dresses like little girls their new spokesperson?
Brands have to stop listening to their woke creative teams and get in touch with their consumer demographics.

Joe Rogan shares his thoughts on the Bud Light controversy
On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the 55-year-old cracked open a can of Bud Light along with comedian guest, Sam Tallent. “What they[Bud Light] are doing is just spreading the brand to an extra group of people,” the UFC commentator said. “Why, if something is good, do you give a f**k who’s got it? Will we do this with cheesecake?”
Rogan further discussed the backlash that Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light received from celebrities like Kid Rock. He said, “I love Kid Rock’s video, I love that kind of thinking. I like a dude who takes a machine gun to a stack of Bud Lights. But where’s he gonna go now? You’re gonna go to Coors? Don’t they all support LGBTQ plus AI, whatever the hell else they’re attaching to it? They all do it.”
The Texas resident added, “It’s funny what people get super outraged about. They are freakin out about Bud Light. It was also just a can with that person’s face on it. That’s all it was. It wasn’t like something they were selling.”
