UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan recently talked about the American rapper Kanye West in one of his episodes. Rogan’s The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on YouTube has grown to be immensely popular. However, in a recent episode, the podcast took an unexpectedly dark turn when Rogan was talking about Kanye West’s comeback.
Joe Rogan and popular American comedian Shane Gillis recently sat down for an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. Rogan asked Gillis whether Kanye West, who has been immensely criticized for his often provocative and extreme views, could make his comeback. Rogan further compared West’s comeback to Bud Light, a beer company that has staged a comeback after struggling initially by signing a deal with the UFC.

He asked, “Can he come back like Bud Light?” Responding to the question, Gillis said that West needs only one album to announce his comeback. Following Gillis’ answer, Rogan rather unexpectedly said, “Well, also, what better time to be mad at Jews?” Rogan’s statement caught Gillis unaware, who struggled to find an appropriate answer before bursting into laughter.

Rogan’s comment is a reference to Kanye West’s previous anti-Semitic public opinions that have often landed him in hot waters. However, due to the ongoing Israel-Palestine crisis, there has been some difference of opinion among people about the Semites. Therefore, the 56-year-old commentator believes that the ongoing political scenario would aid in making West’s comeback even stronger.
Joe Rogan agrees Kanye West made Taylor Swift famous
Meanwhile, Joe Rogan has finally expressed his support for Kanye West regarding the rapper’s controversy with pop star Taylor Swift. Back in the 2009 MTV VMAs, West created a huge stir when he ambushed Swift during her acceptance speech for the Video of the Year award. Following the incident, West released his song, ‘Famous’ in 2016, where he took a brutal swipe at the American pop singer.
The song contained the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x. Why? I made that b**** famous.” Although West claimed that he had taken Swift’s permission for the release of the song, Taylor‘s statements proved to be the contrary. She not only denied West’s permission for the lyrics, but she also considered it to be “misogynistic“.

During the podcast, Rogan weighed in on the controversy by showing his support for Kanye. Rogan agreed with West’s lyrics and claimed that he indeed “made that b*** famous“. Nevertheless, both Joe Rogan and Shane Gillis said that West “says a lot of wild s***” and took the 46-year-old rapper’s comments with a pinch of salt.
