Comedian Bert Kreischer opened up about how he was at odds with Joe Rogan. Kreischer has appeared on Rogan’s podcast several times and they have appeared to be close friends. However, Kreischer’s nature as a human gets to Rogan.
In a podcast hosted by YouTuber Jake Paul, Kreischer opened up about the beef he has with Rogan. The comedian, in his own words, talks a lot of “sh*t”. This usually gets him into trouble in front of people like Rogan who take things seriously.
He said, “Dude, I talk sh*t… There were times Rogan was gonna punch me like I talk wild sh*t”
Kreischer was asked, “When’s the time that you thought Rogan was gonna fight you?” The comedian responded, “oh um a million times”
Kreischer went on to talk about all the things he had told Rogan and how he took them seriously. In one of his stories, he revealed how he had copied one of Rogan’s videos where the JRE host goes on a run with his dog. In the skit made by Kreischer, he claims that he ran four miles, two more than Rogan. The UFC commentator then went on to run 10 miles and 20 miles to beat Kreischer.
The pair were also not talking for a while. Kreischer claims that he gets into Rogan’s head sometimes. It was because of this that Rogan had to also pull out of ‘Sober October’ – a thing the comedians used to do together for years.
Rogan had also posted a screenshot of Kreischer turning down ‘Sober October’ and the latter received backlash for it. However, in his defense, Kreischer said that he tried to plan the month with Rogan beforehand but he did not reply.
Joe Rogan and Bert Kreischer have been friends for over 15 years
Kreischer has been making an appearance on JRE from the very initial days of the podcast. Today, the podcast has over 2000 episodes but Kreischer has been a guest on the podcast even before it reached 100 episodes.
On several occasions, Kreischer has opened up about his friendship with Rogan. A story he regularly narrated is the one where he thought Rogan was gay. He talked about it with fellow comedian Andrew Schulz and also on IMPAULSIVE with Logan Paul.
On Paul’s IMPAULSIVE, Kreischer said, “When Joe wanted to be friends with me, I was like, ‘You must be gay’. Like, why would you wanna be friends with another man? That didn’t make sense to me”. He further added, “Why would you wanna hang out with him? And then Joe never tried to kiss me once.”
Kreischer has also opened up about how Rogan and Ari Shaffir reached out to him in his difficult times. Even though Kreischer and Rogan might have had a small friendly beef, it is difficult to break their strong friendship. In a JRE episode, five years ago, Rogan explained how proud he was of all his friends including Tom Segura, Ari Shaffir, Bert Kreischer, and Joey Diaz.
