Joe Rogan is well-known for his podcasting and MMA commentary, as well as for his extensive knowledge of a variety of other topics. His podcast has grown to be the biggest in the world, and one of the major reasons for that is Joe’s ability to entertain any type of guest, regardless of their background or thought process. This is also why he has attracted several controversies, as Rogan also has an interest in digging deep into conspiracy theories.
During one of the episodes, the UFC commentator talked about some rumors involving the late pop singer Michael Jackson. Rogan expressed that Jackson was castrated by his parents when he was young to preserve his voice as he grew up.
This is why his voice and other features never fully developed after puberty as in other males. “They’d take young boys, and they would castrate them at a very young age, and because of that, their bodies never developed testosterone, so they would develop this haunting voice,” said Rogan.
He also justified his opinion by stating that the late artist was very thin throughout his life and never really developed any muscle because of the lack of testosterone in his body. The former ‘Fear Factor’ host went as far as saying, “Dig him up and check the n*ts” to verify the rumor about MJ.
The rumors first gained popularity when Michael’s doctor claimed that the superstar’s father, Joe Jackson, was “one of the worst fathers to his children in history”.
According to the controversial doctor Conrad Murray, Michael’s father, Joe, “chemically castrated” him to keep his high-pitched voice. Murray made the accusation in a taped statement that was published by the website The Blast. The doctor spent two years in prison for involuntary manslaughter following Michael Jackson’s death in 2009.
Joe Rogan regrets not being able to see Michael Jackson perform
Among the many themes covered in the Joe Rogan Experience, music is one of the most frequently discussed. In a podcast with popular artist Wiz Khalifa, Joe Rogan expressed that he regrets not being able to watch Michael Jackson perform live. “Michael Jackson was the one when there was no one before,” said Joe Rogan.
Joe Rogan has previously acknowledged that he enjoys music by a wide range of artists, including Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and more. However, the well-liked UFC expert and comedian has largely enjoyed the biggest hits from these stars.
Also known as the “King of Pop”, MJ is still considered to be one of the most influential figures in the history of music. The 50-year-old American star passed away from acute propofol intoxication on June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles, California.
