One of the greatest lightweight fighters of all time, Khabib Nurmagomedov has won over a lot of fans in the world of mixed martial arts because of his fight skills, values and humility.
Khabib retired from the fight game after his lightweight title defense against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. The Dagestani champion had some time back shared a story on his social media where he was asking his fans, “Are you guys tired of me?”
Recently, the post was again doing rounds on social media as it was reposted by a Twitter account.
The former UFC champion’s fans are a bit worried about his mental health as this is very unusual for Khabib. He never posts anything personal on his social media which is very typical of him.
One of his fans replied by saying that it felt bad to see the legend post something like this.
Why does this make me feel bad

Another user wrote that Khabib might have just understood that he should not have retired from UFC when he was at the top of his game.
Bro realized retiring in his prime was stupid

Little did the fans know that this was an old Instagram story from the Dagestani fighter. However, it is natural for the fans to get worried as Khabib is known to be as strong mentally, as he is physically. His motivational videos and speeches have earned him new fans even after it has been long since he retired from the sport.
Is Khabib Nurmagomedov going to fight George St-Pierre in his UFC return?
UFC legend George St-Pierre is all set to return to the world of martial arts. He is expected to compete at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational grappling-only event in December.
The former two-division UFC champion was asked recently whether there was a possibility of him fighting Khabib in his return match. GSP responded by explaining that UFC management had given a list of players whom he can fight against based on their availability.
“They are all very attractive, but everybody has a different agenda. I have received a list from the UFC today, and we’re going to check who’s available.” – said the former UFC champion.
Furthermore, ‘Rush’ said that Khabib was not on the list given to him. So there was no chance whatsoever for a fight between the two legends.
Lastly, Khabib had retired from MMA in 2020 after UFC 254. He has time and again firmly stated that his time in the fight game is over and he will not be coming back.
