Aspinall vs Tybura: Fight Breakdown and Prediction
Tom Aspinall is heading into his fight with Marcin Tybura with a loss in his last fight. While Aspinall lost via TKO, the result might have been different if not for his knee injury. Prior to his loss against Curtis Blaydes, Aspinall was on a five-fight streak in UFC.
His opponent Marcin Tybura on the other hand is coming off back-to-back wins over skilled heavyweight fighters. The Polish fighter has great momentum going into this fight but is still a betting underdog. Talking about styles both fighters have somewhat similar styles of fighting.
Aspinall is all around great fighter who has many accolades on his feet and on the ground. He has a black belt in BJJ but has quickly added other skills to his arsenal. He has seamlessly taken up striking and makes it look effortless inside the octagon.
Meanwhile, Marcin Tybura is also a BJJ black belt holder and has won fights via submissions. Tybura has experience controlling opponents on the ground but is not a great striker compared to Aspinall. That said Tybura’s striking has improved considerably and is not afraid to mix things up.

After comparing the overall stats of the two fighters many predict Aspinall to win this fight. However, the British fighter is coming after year-long rest which might affect his performance. Given the fight is in the heavyweight division, one punch could turn the tables in this fight.
However, Aspinall has been a betting favorite for quite some time and has always managed to back it with his performance. If the bout is not suspended due to any injury, fans can expect the British fighter to take the win.
