UFC president Dana White recently revealed on social media that he successfully completed a three-and-a-half-day water fast. Aside from showcasing immediate and remarkable physical transformations, the 54-year-old asserts that fasting can yield various health benefits.
The UFC CEO has partnered with health and fitness expert Gary Brecka in pursuit of longevity. White shared on Instagram that he was motivated to take action when doctors delivered the alarming news that he had slightly over a decade left to live. This unsettling revelation prompted him to explore Brecka’s 10x health system.
I did an 86 hour water fast and i feel INCREDIBLE! Obviously i’m not a doctor, but i’ve been told by the experts that water fasting can help to significantly reduce the risk of cancer, alzheimers and a ton of other health issues. pic.twitter.com/3AOt7n4IFO

White initiated his fast on Saturday night (November 11, 2023) following the conclusion of the UFC 295 event in New York City, concluding it on Wednesday morning (November 15, 2023). He substantiated his claim with striking before-and-after images. Even in the initial photos, White exhibited well-defined abdominal muscles. However, in the subsequent photo, his midsection appeared trim and firm, prominently displaying his sculpted six-pack.
“I did an 86-hour water fast, and I feel INCREDIBLE!”, said the UFC CEO. He pointed out that according to medical studies, undertaking the fast provides an individual with a more than 70 percent likelihood of avoiding fatal diseases like cancer, Alzheimer’s, and others. However, in a subsequent tweet, White emphasized that he lacked medical expertise and urged individuals to consult with healthcare professionals before embarking on the fast.
What supplements did Dana White use for his 86-hour fast?
According to UFC President Dana White, the protocol that he followed involved consuming only water for 72 hours, or at least in the version of the program he adhered to, which is evidently considered safer than a full seven days. However, he did emphasize that you can incorporate electrolytes into your water as long as they are free of sugar, carbs, calories, and similar components.
For his fast, White used the grape-flavored Ultima Replenisher Hydration Electrolyte Powder. He added that he really liked the taste of this product and used it throughout his fast along with his water. This electrolyte powder can be bought on Amazon and on their official website.
Do you own research and talk to your own medical professionals, but I absolutely recommend it

After the initial 24 hours, White introduced bone broth into his routine, choosing the ‘Kettle & Fire’ brand with a minimal 45 calories and less than 1 gram of carbs per serving, while boasting 13 grams of protein. According to the UFC boss, this product was approved by many doctors and nutritionists out there and is also a lean and clean source of high-quality protein. This one is also available online on Amazon and Kettle & Fire’s official website as well.
White used only these two products in his fast, which lasted for almost three and a half days. What do you think about this new experiment by the UFC head? Do let us know in the comments.
