Over the past couple of years, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has amassed millions of followers through his world-renowned podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Rogan is considered one of the most successful podcasters and has had a plethora of guests on his podcast. However, among the variety of subjects discussed on his show, the 56-year-old happens to be highly inquisitive about conspiracy theories.
Joe has touched on various theories that sound mysterious and successfully manages to captivate his listeners. One such conspiracy discussed on his show was about the sinking of the largest crew ship in the 1910s, the Titanic. The conversation started with Rogan and his guest Dave Portnoy talking about the famous French astrologer Nostradamus in the episode no. 1920.
While Nostradamus is known for allegedly predicting future events and World Wars, Portnoy did not buy into his hype. Instead, he introduced Rogan to a book that predicted the Titanic crashing into an iceberg 14 years before it sailed. The book was titled “Futility” and eventually revised to “The Wreck of Titan.”
While the book managed to predict The demise of Titanic, Rogan tried thinking about it from a realistic perspective. “But I bet they hit the icebergs all the time back then,” said Rogan. Although fascinated by the book, the podcast host managed to rationally dismiss the theory that the event was foretold.
However, the Titanic is only a small part of the conspiracy theories discussed on the show. Rogan has had several flat earth believers on his show and even a few that believed space is fake.
Joe Rogan talks about ‘space is fake’ conspiracy theory
From mind-bending truths to crazy conspiracy theories, podcast host and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan has covered it all. Yet not many manage to come close to the absurd space is fake conspiracy theory discussed on The Joe Rogan Experience.
Rogan’s good friend and standup comedian Eddie Bravo is a firm believer in several conspiracy theories including a theory revolving around why the space is fake. Eddie tried putting up a compelling argument that revolved around one world government. The mixed martial artist believed that the whole world could be controlled by a single government with the presence of an extra-terrestrial threat.
However, for an extraterrestrial threat or aliens to originate from there should exist space. “You can’t have a fake alien attack without space,” said Eddie. Bravo also tried to include the Vatican and former US President Ronald Reagan in his argument.
Rogan who formerly believed that the moon landing was fake fact checked his friend multiple times. However, Eddie insisted that he had researched the topics from YouTube and declared the mainstream media lies about everything.
Rogan who has conversed with several reputed scientists knew that it was a fool’s errand to correct Eddie and kept the show going. Do you believe in any conspiracy theories? Tell us more about them in the comments below.
