Tennis star Serena Williams is one of the legends of the sport. In a career that spanned over two decades, Serena amassed titles and trophies. She made a lot of friends too, along the way, and she does not mind teasing them every now and then. And she did just that recently, when she trolled her long-time friend Kim Kardashian, on social media.
Kim is a well-known socialite and businesswoman, and they both go way back. On Saturday, Kardashian posted a bunch of photos from a recent photoshoot.
She was clad in a pink bikini with a matching cover-up, as she posed sultrily on a tennis court. Kim also posed with a racket in a couple of photos. But her grip on the racket was a dead giveaway that she was no professional.

Of course, Serena noticed it immediately and wasn’t above trolling her friend a bit. The 23-time Grand Slam champion pointed out how Kardashian was holding the racket wrong. “Literally not how you hold a racquet. Clearly I have to give you lessons lol,” she wrote, adding a couple of heart-eye emojis.
Both Serena Williams and Kim have been friends for a long time now. They were also spotted together at Lionel Messi’s debut for Inter Miami CF in July.
Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian’s friendship
It is reported that Williams and Kardashian’s friendship goes back almost 20 years. The two best friends often leave encouraging messages for each other on their social media posts. Kardashian has also hailed Williams as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time).
Their friendship began long before Kim became a celebrity. At the time, Kim’s job was to organize and clear out celebrity closets, and Williams was one of her clients. The duo hit it off immediately, and their friendship has withstood the test of time.
Kardashian attended Serena’s wedding with Alexis Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit. In an interview, Kardashian spoke of how happy she was that Serena had found her prince.
“I’ve known Serena for so long and am so happy she’s found her prince. From the moment she told me she met Alexis in Rome, it was like she’s been so happy and has this light about her that is so special to see. You just know it is so real. He makes her so happy and that just makes her friends happy,” she said (via The Sun).
It is wonderful to see how the duo have maintained their bond over the years, and are each other’s biggest supporters. Serena Williams retired last year, but she will always be an icon, off the court too.
