Pop singing sensation Shakira has recently been accused by the mother of her ex Gerard Pique. Pique’s mother is of the opinion that there has been a change in the behavior of her grandchildren, caused by Shakira.
According to the reports, after the separation, Pique’s children have stopped calling his parents their grandparents. As per the reports, this is because Shakira has imposed restrictions on them and told them not to. Further reports say this could be a revenge tactic from the female singer, targeted towards Pique’s parents.
The mother of Gerard Pique, Montserrat Bernabeau claims that she noticed the change in the attitude and persona of her grandchildren. This was more so when they visited Barcelona the last time around. She claims that the children seemed very involved and busy with their cell phones. They didn’t bother to spend any chunk of their time having a conversation with their grandfather or grandmother.
After the couples partition from each other, the children are bound to share their living duration in both of their legal guardian’s homes. After a much-talked-about relationship, their separation happened in the year 2022.
However, with Pique’s ex-partner moving to different parts of the world, Pique’s mother is saddened by the fact that she is not able to spend quality time with her grandchildren. It can be inferred that she is very closely attached to her grandchildren.

The female pop sensation was spotted holding Barcelona jerseys alongside some of the club’s staff members. This is after her separation from her ex Gerard Pique, who also played for Barcelona. As per the reports, this was for the female singer’s educational center foundations.

A partnership has been struck between FC Barcelona and her foundation. The objective is to help young learners with their necessary study requirements. During the event, the singer also came out with plans to release her latest song soon. The education facility is touted to be located in Barranquilla.
However, this is not the first time that the 46-year-old has come to the aid of children regarding education. In 2014, she inaugurated a learning center cum school. The center was maintained by the non-profit organization, Barefoot Foundation, which belongs to her.
With the singer being part of such social causes, it can be said that, even after her separation from Gerard Pique, she has overcome and done well in both her personal and professional life. Also, her music continues to be a fan favorite around the world.
