Spain is set to face Georgia and Cyprus in their upcoming UEFA Euro qualifiers. However, recent footage from Spain‘s training has gone viral on the Internet, where Gavi was seen wearing protective headgear.
During FC Barcelona’s recent La Liga outing against Osasuna, Gavi suffered a blow to his ear. Gavi was left bleeding from his ear after coming together with Osasuna’s Ruben Garcia. However, the FC Barcelona midfielder continued to play after stopping briefly for medical attention. Not only did he complete the match, but he also helped his team to a hard-fought 2-1 win.
Following the match, FC Barcelona‘s social media pages posted a picture of Gavi’s injury. In the picture that was captioned “Everything OK“, Gavi’s ears could be seen stapled to protect the injury. Therefore, the Spanish star was pictured wearing headgear to prevent any further injuries. However, Gavi’s picture has gone viral on the Internet, with one fan even writing, “Our thug has received his armor.“
