Why did Neymar reject Barcelona?
Neymar Jr. is set to leave PSG and it was speculated that he was on his way back to FC Barcelona. But now, it is being reported that he is in the final stages of agreeing on a move to the Saudi side, Al Hilal.
Neymar had been part of the golden era of Barcelona where he joined from his boyhood club Santos in 2013. He played at Barca along with the likes of Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi and formed the formidable “MSN”. During his four years with the Spanish giants, Neymar played 186 matches. In it, he scored 108 times and had 76 assists to his name.
Although the player hasn’t mentioned any specific reason for rejecting Barca, there can be a few reasons for this decision. Bareclona’s financial condition can be one of the reasons.
To those Barcelona fans bashing Neymar for choosing Al Hilal over Barcelona are not serious 🧐. Football is about money ,there’s is not retirement salary in football. €100m is demn fu*king money that he can’t reject and I support that 💯 pic.twitter.com/w1Ap8J5F4d

Another reason can be that Neymar wants to try new challenges and so he feels that a move to the Saudi league would be more prudent. It is to be seen where Neymar ultimately ends up as many other parties are also interested to acquire his services.
