On the other hand, his arch-rival Klopp said he is looking for a year-long break from soccer because he is exhausted and worn out. Guardiola disclosed that he experienced a comparable circumstance at Barcelona, which compelled him to go from the Catalan team in 2012.
It remains to be seen what happens next with both their sides, Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC in the EPL this 2023-24 season. Both Pep and Klopp are in the hunt for the league title and will be looking to win it to claim bragging rights over each other.

Pep shared his opinion on Klopp by saying, “They have been our biggest rivals. And personally, he [Klopp] has been the best rival I ever had in my life – in Dortmund when I was in Bayern, then here. I think the Premier League are going to miss him – the charisma, the personality, and especially the way his teams play.” They both have been at the top of the EPL for many years.
Pep Guardiola reveals plans for his future with Manchester City
If Manchester City were found to have violated Premier League financial regulations, manager Pep Guardiola says he would continue to lead the team even if they were demoted to League One. Everton’s 10-point deduction refocused attention on City’s future, but Guardiola maintains that the two situations are unrelated.
