Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be looking for a new club after just one season with the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. Many reports claim that the player is seeking an early retreat from the Arabian club after they failed to win the Saudi Pro League.
Many reports further claim that the MLS could be the next destination for the player. Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move to the States for some time now. The player was previously set to join the MLS side before he joined Al-Nassr on a record transfer deal.

Ronaldo is also linked with the Premier League side Newcastle United. As per a report by Marca, the player had an unnatural clause in his contract with Al-Nassr. The clause allows the player to join Newcastle United if they manage to secure a place in the Champions League.

Fans urge Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Al-Nassr for Newcastle United
Al-Nassr failed to win their Saudi Pro League as they could only muster a 1-1 draw with club Ettifaq. The draw left them being 5 points off from Al-Ittihad who is currently sitting at the top of the table.

Ronaldo has failed to win a single trophy this season with his new club. Following the match, the fans of the player were seen urging the player to leave Al-Nassr. One fan was seen commenting on a post made by the club, stating, “I hope Ronaldo leaves this bad team soon, Newcastle or Bayern.”
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, however, has downplayed these rumors. The manager has clarified, “A lot of the names aren’t accurate, we need to recruit wisely.

“We want to discover them before they explode onto the world stage. We need to go underneath, find them young, and develop them. I know the direction.”
Howe has also dismissed the claims of Cristiano Ronaldo has a contract clause to join Newcastle United. He said, “We wish Cristiano all the best but there’s no truth in that from our perspective.” Declan Rice and Mason Mount are said to be the English club’s priority target this summer window.
